A wee little man can’t say, I’m sorry. A big man owns his mistakes and apologizes.
A wee little man trusts himself and his own discernment. A big man is humble enough to know that he needs the counsel and input of others.

This is a prayer worth praying today!Prayer of the Salzburg Martyrs
Eighteen Anabaptists were martyred at Salzburg. The Mirror of the Martyrs contains their prayer before execution.
O God of heaven,
watch over your sheep,
who are such a little flock,
that we may not depart from you
or be led astray.
Keep us under your protection
and sustain us in your will.
Grant that those who teach false doctrine
may amend their steps and do your will.
Fill us with your divine power, O God,
for we have no other Lord in heaven and earth
but you. Amen

Last Wednesday night our school children put on a play/skit/ whatever that depicted the arrest, trial, torture and burning of Michael Sattler.
Quit interesting, and I think the children will not soon forget the story.

We are too far removed from this. We need a reminder.

I decided to see who was operating that website and was horrified.

Extreme ultra progressives who have a tenuous connection to “Anabaptism” and seem to be very politically involved, and on the wrong side of biblical moral issues.

Yep. It’d make a good prayer to say before the day begins.Ernie wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2026 10:49 amThis is a prayer worth praying today!Prayer of the Salzburg Martyrs
