Which text (or specific chapter/quote) from the Pre-Nicene church do you appreciate the most?
I like a lot of them, especially the ones that affirm standards for Christians that many professing Christians reject today, such as Biblical Nonresistance. But I have to say my favourite quote is:
"Only request on my behalf that I may not merely be called a Christian, but may really be found to be one."
- Ignatius of Antioch
How about you?
