Majority of students in some school districts are amish?
Do you mean in a school district and attending the public school?
Or do you mean in a school district and conveniently left out the fact that they don't attend the public school and instead attend their own school?
No, I meant the majority of the students at a public school are Amish children.
Are there really and truly public schools that are predominantly amish children? I'd like to see the proof of that. If there is proof, i will certainly have learned something.
Refer to “A Little More in the World: Why Amish Parents Choose to Send Their Children to Public Schools”, vol. 9 iss. 1 of the
Journal of Amish and Plain Anabaptist Studies.
One of the criticisms of Millersburg Elementary–Middle School is that because of changing demographics, the school is losing the heterogeneity families seek. In a decade the school has grown from approximately half Amish to two-thirds Amish while growing in enrollment. AM005 indicated she “was kind of sad that there’s no English” in Grades 7 and 8.
Public schools that have grades that are 100% Amish.
the JohnH said it, so it must be true.
I noticed then whenever we would drive to the birth centre in Mt Eaton and the children were out for recess at the nearby school, and it was obvious the majority of the children were Amish.
So, yeah, this was based on my own first-hand observation. I’m sorry if that bothers you.
