I dont necessarily have a problem with people being critical of Netanyahu or showing concern and care for the Gazan cause. The issue I have is when people post long diatribes against the Jews and then weave it in with Bible verses as if its our religious duty to treat the Jews as subhuman due to their rejection of Christ. That doesn't sound very "nonresistant Anabaptist" to me, especially so shortly after Oct. 7th. A better solution is to make a point to pray for the people of Gaza (even the Hamas for their hearts to be softened) and pray for the Israelis/ Jews (including Mr. Netanyahu) that peace might prevail.
I'm not a leftist.
I'm not a communist.
I'm not an Islamist.
I'm not a Palestinian.

I'm a Christian.

That's why I condemn the prime minister of the Zionist state, and I pray for the day when Palestinians are seen and treated as human beings

You seem closer to Catholic than Mennonite.

Also the title raises red flags too.

They are not "Jew communities". They are "Jewish communities." Jew is the noun, Jewish is the adjective.

When people deliberately use "Jew" as an adjective it is usually part of some anti-Semitic screed. As in "Jew bankers are robbing us blind"

This photo was the one I found on google of Christian communities in Palestine. I don't know if there are Mennonite communities there. I have nothing against Catholics. I think many of them will be saved during the Great Tribulation. I have criticisms of the Catholic Church, especially regarding idolatry and the unbiblical and unchristian prohibition of priests and nuns from marrying.

It seems like your posts are quite infused by Catholicism. Are you intentionally seeking out Catholic content?
Are you really regularly attending a Mennonite church?

Mennonite pre’s are typically less anti-Semitic and more anti-Catholic than we are seeing here.

If you're asking if my last name is Martin, Krause, or Grove, if any of my ancestors spoke German, or if I can sing octaves very high in choirs, the answer is NO.

I learned about the Mennonite Church during a trip to Belize, where there are many Old Colonies. I talked a lot with the brothers about the Bible and especially about how technology is absorbing us too much. Later, at my local church, I discovered that not all churches use horse and buggies as means of transportation and that many use electricity. I decided to start attending.

As a child, I was baptized in the Catholic Church, but I decided to leave a long time ago when I realized that prohibiting priests from marrying is totally unbiblical, a tradition of men that has no basis in the Word of God and is the cause of so many problems of homosexuality and pedophilia within the clergy. (Peter who many catholics claim to be the first pope was married even when i consider the church he founded a completely different insitution of the church founded by constantin)

I wasn’t asking those questions, but now that you mention it, I do find Thomas Muntzer to be a captivating choice for a username on a Mennonite forum. Muntzer was a blot on the Anabaptist movement. And there was a rather famous doubter in the NT named Thomas.

But how is your bass singing? :)

In Christian theology I have always drawn from the Church Fathers such as Augustine and Origen. I was not familiar with the Anabaptist authors prior to congregate in the mennonite church, and I found the story of Thomas Muntzer very interesting because, although I agree with his criticism of the feudal system and the terrible living conditions of the European peasantry, NON-VIOLENCE is a clear mandate from Jesus and God by allowing the armed revolt that he made fail, he shows us once again that war is not the solution.
