I mean is there no end to how many dangerous situations that have arose due to illegal immigrants getting “exceptions”
Have you paid attention to all the people killed due to CDL licenses given out to people that cannot speak English and shouldn’t be driving semis? It’s horrible so we always pray before we hit the road anyways- our good friends said she was about runoff the road by a semi in Rhode Island last summer and wondered if it was one of those.

A few weeks ago, I was in California. My mom‘s car had a dead battery and we weren’t sure if it was the battery or alternator. So we called a tow truck to have it taken to a mechanic. But I had a couple of questions I wanted to ask the tow truck driver since they could check a couple of things normally when they show up. The man showed up to take the car but when I wanted to ask him the questions he had no idea what I was saying at all. We could not communicate whatsoever how in the world is he reading road signs

I just watched the segment on Fox News by the Department of transportation. They’ve had a revoke 30,000 license so far that should not have been given out.!!

Reading German road signs is far easier than communicating with an Abschleppwagenfahrer, so I imagine the same would be true in California. The only problem in Germany is finding which exit to take from the Autobahn, if you don't want to go to the ubiquitous city of Ausfahrt.

I know it’s well documented that teens get in wrecks more often… can we deport them yet?

For a couple of years before my cataract surgery, i voluntarily refused to drive on unfamiliar highways, for fear of not being able to read HUGE interstate highway signs.

i did fine with local driving i was familiar with. Legal and insured.

From what i understand, PILOTS must have enough English to communicate with ATC. Many have strong accents.
Imagine JFK without a common language.

Even if they were FLAWLESS or superior drivers, no, they should not be allowed to get training, licenses, employment or other special considerations. Esp not CDL.

Equal means laws apply equally to all. Equal. (Not special.)

Maybe asking mods to add the word, “professional” or “CDL” driving schools to your subject line would help your OP?

Basic driver’s licenses are another challenging topic.
