and other types of trafficking, example, drugs. Illegal immigration (was) a major culprit in these and many heinous crimes.
i agree with Robert and Grace about the gravity involved.
In my tiny experience, i helped a family who had adopted 4 young children from South America, 3 were from the streets and had been abused. It’s a life commitment to adopt troubled children; many hands are needed beyond the adoptive parents, it’s not a matter of weeks or years, it’s a lifetime to attempt to mitigate damage done.
Robert (and Sherry) accomplished much, including fostering/adopting. No words are sufficient.
i believe this forum has/has had lots of members who have adopted, i have no idea the various circumstances.
In the video below, they stress this work, recovering trafficked children, as NOT political. It shouldn’t be.
It seems, and, i hope, much effort is being made to locate these victims, to return them to their families when possible.
“Rescue” is the beginning. The starting place.
Missing Florida kids rescued, 3 arrested during Operation Statewide Shield / -33minGrace wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 7:41 amAnother very heavy documentary is "Line in the Sand" where James O'Keefe follows immigrants from Mexico to the U.S. The little 10-year-old girl with those big brown eyes, and traveling alone, breaks my heart. From 2021 to 2024 the human and sex trafficking of women and children not only got worse, but it also got easier, with the open borders. And it was pure evil.Robert wrote: ↑Sat Jun 14, 2025 10:34 am Thought it might be a relaxing weekend, but I watched Operation Toussiant on Prime Video this morning. Story of Tim Ballard and Operation Underground Railroad. They work to rescue children from human trafficking. Pretty heavy stuff. This country is quite sick. The US is the major purchaser of trafficked children. Lord, come quickly.

They are saying this Florida based operation involved 6 states, Puerto Rico, and 12 countries.“Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier give an update on a multi-agency operation that led to the rescue of
163 missing kids and the arrest of three people.”
This topic is to note reports on work accomplished in response to human trafficking.
