Ebola, again
2014-ish?
There was once an active discussion on Ebola, a significant outbreak, lost to forum resets.
Today, i got a notice from my clinic, they want to know about travel to the Congo.
May 2026 / “Former ‘Ebola czar’ on the current outbreak in Africa” [Ron Klain]
https://www.npr.org/2026/05/19/nx-s1-58 ... -in-africa
June 2026 / WHO / “Ongoing outbreak in Democratic Republic of the Congo”
https://www.afro.who.int/health-topics/ ... eak-drc-25
How unfortunate to have distrust wrt public health matters over politics.
If only that were a non-issue.
Take care, everyone.

not traveling, not that i’m aware.
i must hedge, not knowng God’s will.
i heartfully join in their prayers:
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
In the name of Jesus, Prince of Peace, amen.

You don’t know if you are traveling in the DR of Congo? Are you able to look outside and describe what you are seeing?

You never know what God might do and spontaneously send Temp to the Congo.
Temp, you might want to get your passport ready.

t1,
If you end up going there is a great congregation from my church group there. From what I hear they are very hospitable, which is a good thing, because it can take weeks just to travel to get to the congregation in the first place.
