34:45 min mark / Trump enters to speak
When talking about the new ballroom and the reasons for building it being to make a more secure place for events like this kind of surprised me. I didn't know that. It looks like security has been pushing for 150 years to create a better and more secure place for these kinds of events but none of that is ever mentioned in the mass media news when they were whining about the new ballroom even though it's not paid for by taxpayers.
There's been assassinations and attempts at assassinations of presidents and other government officials in US history. Y'all are probably familiar with those. I see the point of building a secure space to hold functions for diplomacy, meetings and whatnots. Hotels don't seem to have the requirements for securing safety.

i believe the “opposers” in Congress are being completely disingenuous about the ballroom - and all planned in that construction project. If i recall, there is to be a state of the art bunker/shelter FOR THEM, more recently, i read of a hospital (?) .. i don’t believe they oppose it for one moment, probably can’t wait to use it.
It’s always “a neat trick” to pass something off as “not my decision” then blame the other guy, while enjoying every bit of the (cough) “unwanted” results.
It won’t be long before it’s known who uses the facilities and who abstains. “Well, we HAD to go.”
They all love dressng up and going to fancy parties.

I don't think that's a valid location in LA County.

Who are the three men (in military uniform???) with big back packs who run across the back of the stage after Trump is whisked out?
