I would never wire based on an email. Call the loan officer and ask her to read out wire instructions. Or go to the nearest branch and ask them to print up a copy of them.
Alternatively, your title insurance company can handle the wire transfers (at least in Ohio). And they will be careful to make sure you get the right instructions.
