A few years ago I met a cousin I haven't seen in a while and her husband who I had never met. During the conversation I was taken back to learn he is a convinced flat earth theorist. I see from google this idea is on the rise. Just curious how common it is among mennonites.

None of the sphere earth options are strong enough. The Earth is a sphere That's all. Oh and...vaccines don't cause autism. And we landed on the moon.

That’s actually us flat-earthers. We want to melt the ice wall at the “South Pole” so we can look over the edge and free the world from NASA’s mental tyranny once and for all.

I have a friend who's a flat earther. I occasionally try to respectfully give him things to think about. He's also a pagan with some interest in Christianity, so I challenge him there also sometimes.

Having circumnavigated the globe a couple of times and found things exactly as I left them each time, including dirty dishes, I am forced to conclude that I arrived back where I started. Not easy to do that on a flat plane, even with the aid of a cylindrical plane, using the flight schedules that actually exist.
