The ceasefire seems trumped up considering what the IDF did yesterday.

And while other things dominate the news...

People in Gaza are digging through garbage with their bare hands, looking for plastic to burn for heat.

And... looking for firewood could cost you your life.

A wee little man can’t say, I’m sorry. A big man owns his mistakes and apologizes.
A wee little man trusts himself and his own discernment. A big man is humble enough to know that he needs the counsel and input of others.

The Times of Israel
EXCLUSIVE ‘PEACE REQUIRES DEPARTING FROM INSTITUTIONS THAT TOO OFTEN FAILED'

:arrow: “Full text: Charter of Trump’s Board of Peace”
No mention of Gaza, which bolsters ToI’s reporting that US also envisions panel helping resolve other conflicts worldwide;
member countries must pay $1 billion for permanent spot

PREAMBLE
Declaring that durable peace requires pragmatic judgment, common-sense solutions, and the courage to depart from approaches and institutions that have too often failed;

Recognizing that lasting peace takes root when people are empowered to take ownership and responsibility over their future;

Affirming that only sustained, results-oriented partnership, grounded in shared burdens and commitments, can secure peace in places where it has for too long proven elusive;

Lamenting that too many approaches to peace-building foster perpetual dependency, and institutionalize crisis rather than leading people beyond it;

Emphasizing the need for a more nimble and effective international peace-building body; and

Resolving to assemble a coalition of willing States committed to practical cooperation and effective action,

Judgment guided and justice honored, the Parties hereby adopt the Charter for the Board of Peace. .. ..

i believe there are 13 Chapters. i’m beginning to study.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.
