Ken, do you want to embrace a relationship with the truth and apologise for how you misrepresented Musk’s statements earlier? I will give you the benefit of the doubt that it was an honest mistake and not intentional.
He has no coherent statement. He is wandering over the place tossing out absolute nonsense and thinking that it makes him sound smart.

If Musk is talking about nuclear power, can you explain in your own words how Hiroshima and Nagasaki demonstrate the safety of nuclear power? What is Musk's actual argument that you are so desperate to defend?

Fission reactors and fission bombs are two different things with opposite purposes. There are people alive today who are still suffering from the effects of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings.

If so, I would have to say- really? All I have read and seen- the cities were devastated and those that weren't killed outright so many died from radiation poisoning. Yes they were rebuilt, but those cities were destroyed.
So what is Musk saying about those 2 cities? Not asking about nuclear power just those 2 cities. And no I am not going to listen to it.
The context was he said the cities were not poisoned by harmful radiation that made them uninhabitable for thousands of years. The context was discussing how safe or not nuclear power is. And indeed the cities were rebuilt and are completely safe now.

It is dishonest to act as if Musk was claiming nuclear war isn’t a big deal, when he said the exact opposite when talking about the risk of nuclear war.

Go read the transcript if you want to know.

Ken, you were dishonest.

You made an out of context quote to make it look like Elon Musk said nuclear war isn’t a big deal.

Will you admit your dishonesty (or admit you made a mistake) and restore a good relationship with the truth?

Or are you going to fall into the same error you claimed Trump has, with no relationship with the truth?

i listened. probably more than once.
EM stated FROM THE START, he wanted this interaction to be A CONVERSATION, i think he/they succeeded.
The predictable BLOWBACK response indicates lots of folks no longer grasp the concept of conversation, it’s largely been replaced with sound bites, gotchas, divisiveness, the shorter+quicker, the better.

i’ve now learned (it’s not news, but news to me) EM is on the spectrum, so, i now watch for that, keep it in mnd as i listen, he has unique speech patterns, is often awkward, he seems to prefer to keep talks on a slower level, BUT IS A VERY QUICK THINKER.

What i heard on nuclear was: TANGLY.
i TRIED to hear INTENT. What i heard was close to what Josh heard. It was brief and quick between EM and DJT,
i believe Josh caught their INTENT.

EM and DJT are not cold psychopaths.

Unfortunately, the world also listens closely: for GOTCHAs.
The more the better. To broadcast as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, the GOTCHAs are proudly brought right to this forum, every single day.

Readers Beware.

It’s about 2 hours, which is lengthy. See the last video on P.86.

i typically break up lengthy reports into 20min parts.
i like transcripts and time stamps when available.

The first video, 3 hours, on P.86 included response content from the Cartier Family. (i didn’t view “live.”)
There were tech delays, too. Many viewed anyway.

i enjoy the Cartier Family.
they can be noisy+goofy, they believe they are Christians, i think they represent lots of voters who are ignored, and worse.
i’m interested in them and respect their interest and effort to be good men in a difficult world.

I happened to see a link while it was live shortly after it started and decided to listen for a bit out of curiosity. Trump was recounting his experience of being shot. I thought it was fascinating and it’s worth going back and listening to it if you didn’t hear it. Trump recounted a mix of his first-hand experience as well as some other details of the events he’d been filled in on (some of it was new to me and I’m not sure if it had been previously reported on).

A President being shot is a major historical event and of course very few of those Presidents are even able to comment on it. I don’t know if Teddy Roosevelt ever gave an interview about his assassination attempt. I found some examples one-off questions about it to Ronald Reagan but nothing like this. Its just really something to hear Trump describe everything that happened just-so so that his head turned at just the right angle for just the right split second to save his life. It’s pretty clear this is going to be one of “those” historical recordings and I’m glad I heard it live.

If you want to listen it starts at the beginning of the interview and goes for about the first twenty minutes. After that it got into politics and I was dealing with some other things so I only listened for a few more minutes after that.

He is quite intelligent. He is a rocket scientist, well engineer. a Car engineer, a software engineer and a few other things. He made his billions from his intelligence. It was not given to him.

This does not mean he may misspeak and say some things that are not well communicated.

Not sure why he has to be made to look dumb just because you may disagree with him.

Yes, We all can. I think of those who believed masks would stop Covid and social distancing would work. I think of those who did not believe we had therapeutics for Covid but we did for the Common Cold, which is just another strand of Coronavirus.

Some believed Twitter would die. Seems to be doing well.

Yes, intelligent people can believe some dumb things.

I have believed some dumb things over the years. I still believe in Bigfoot.
