If anyone here takes this or is thinking about it, please be careful. Here's the story of an advocate of the drug who died from it.

Hmm.
Danny Lemoi, of Foster, had been taking a daily dose of veterinary-grade ivermectin since 2012, after he was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and he said he quit all other medical treatments five years later because he believed the drug intended for large animals like cows and horses had "regenerated" his heart muscle, reported Vice News.
So he'd been taking it for 11 years for Lyme disease. That's quite different from the protocols calling for taking it for a few weeks for COVID.

Correct. It's just a call to be careful.

Care is wise with all meds.
i just learned Ibuprofin and other OTC pain relief meds can cause problems, including raising blood pressure.
i’ve barely taken any in my life, but more in this last year.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.
