I've been the victim of such things and I should know better. For this I am sorry.appleman2006 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 9:20 pm Can I just put this out there? Should I ever do anything accidentally that may cause my death could you for the sake of my family not try and tear the hold situation apart with a whole bunch of assumptions on a public forum. Talk about it in private all you want if you feel the need.
I suspect I am a bit sensitive about this subject since one of my nephews just lost a son to drowning a few weeks back and the mean things people say on social media often with little or no direct knowledge is just disgusting.
That said, some of us naturally have an analytical minds, mostly through previous experiences, and tend to look for "the story behind the story."

Re: Plane crash?
I'm encouraged by the humble apology (Bro SteveK), and by the acceptance of the apology (Bro. AppleM).
Also, I appreciate the caution to be sensitive to those suffering loss.
We know so little about most everything, and can best help each other by praying for Holy Spirit comfort.
Lately, reading the book of Job has challenged me regarding my quickness to judge a suffering situation.
Job's friends seemed so wise, but actually were so wrong - as to the real cause of Job's suffering.
Job's suffering was increased by their words (Job 16:2), and God was angry with them (Job 42:7). +++
So, thanks for the inspiration, SteveK and AppleM!
+++Job 16:2: “I have heard all this before. What miserable comforters you are!"
Job 42:7 After the LORD had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.
