Who knows what is going on with Nordstream.

But the entire story is from Seymore Hersh who is basing all of it on one anonymous source. He was a cutting edge investigative reporter long ago when he reported on the Pentagon Papers and other American wrongdoing in Vietnam like Mai Lai. But more recently he seems to have gone off the rails.

In 2015 he put out a completely discredited story about how Pakistan had Bin Laden in captivity for years and served him up to the US and the whole supposed Navy Seal raid was just a cover story for secret US and Pakistani cooperation: https://www.vox.com/2015/5/11/8584473/s ... -bin-laden

And he also published another discredited story during the Trump Administration stating that there was no evidence that Syria was using gas and chemical weapons against Syrian rebels and that the Pentagon and Syria were allied together to discredit the Obama Administration: https://www.vox.com/2015/12/21/10634002 ... int-chiefs

All of these various "explosive" stories were all based on single anonymous sources.

We have no way of knowing if any of this Nordstream story is true, but Seymore Hersh doesn't have a great track record recently.

When our children were young, we implored them to be honest (esp with us). We told them they may be falsely accused at times, we wanted to never be in position to doubt them, no matter accusations.

Doubt is heartbreaking. That’s not where anyone wants to be. There is reason to doubt.

Hersh or no Hersh, it doesn’t require a genius to imagine U.S. involvement, esp with biden’s loose and threatening words.
He fancies himself a tough guy. A strong wind would blow him away.

In every investigation into wrong-doing, the first question is: MOTIVE. biden freely provided it before it happened.
Even without his words, motive is obvious. He just blithely gifted accusers. Not unusual for him.

But it's based on a single anonymous source - "according to a source with direct knowledge". Well, maybe, but it seems unlikely. Other sources have pointed the finger in other directions. Three investigations so far have been unable to determine who took it out.
