i’m aware of this sort of thing. i don’t take ANY source without question. so, yes, question.
the U.S. and Canadian governments, msm, have earned questioning, too.

questioning is more than out of hand dismissal or superficial smears.

i don’t post reports to claim they are “the word of God,” but to question validity, hope for feedback, others’ insights.

in the Feb 10 video i posted above, they describe how they are under attack from the mainstream for reporting on Haiti.
interesting to think over. the mainstream is extremely territorial.

if i were involved in Haiti, i believe i’d want to try to have a CONFIDENTIAL dialogue with Dan Cohen.
he seems to have a working knowledge of the country, culture, language, gangs, etc.
practical, without drama.

no confusion intended.

1) thankfully, those kidnapped had a positive outcome.
2) Haiti continues to suffer.
3) some forum members are interested in and invested in helping Haitians, in Haiti and in the U.S.
4) not much reported on Haiti
5) the OP, RZehr, and mods have not interferred. when doubt arises, i defer to these.

fwiw, no matter source, when i share news reports, it’s not intended to “platform.”
i’m sharing with others i’m interested in, hoping for further insights+opinions.
i’m not looking for followers or converts! (i realize not all abide by this.)
