Just out of curiosity, what are the reasons you got vaccinated given you already had COVID?
It’s recommended to get the Covid vaccine even if you have had it. While repeat cases of Covid are rare, they tend to be more severe the second time around and from what I understand, there are still questions and unknowns about how long immunity lasts. I figure it’s better to be safe than sorry. Covid is not an experience I want to repeat.
I plan to get the shots once they are readily available and if they're free, because why not. I've had Covid also, and figure it won't hurt. I'd take a shot to avoid being mildly sick for a week. My guess is having Covid is about as effective as getting a shot, but again, what does it hurt to potentially gain some extra immunity.

It seems consistent with what I’ve read so far — having Covid does give you immunity, but it’s unclear for how long or how durable it is.

I had some side-effects when I got the shots —mostly chills and exhaustion — but it was nowhere near as bad as when I had Covid.

Other than the voices in my head telling me to buy Windows 10, I haven’t had any long-term effects.

The same is also true of the vaccine.

But let’s keep things locked down, closed, and everyone wearing masks anyway. Or maybe people should really be required to walk around with a grounded lightning rod attached to their mask now too.

I have actually been struck by lightning. Does that increase or deduce my chances with a vaccine that has not been FDA approved?

Only increased chance of being struck by lightning while being injected. Don't receive your covid vaccine under a tree.

On the plus side, getting struck by lightning while being injected will probably fry and disable the Bill Gates tracking chip that comes with your vaccine. So there's that. :laugh

That’s what booster shots are for.
