So much for summer saving us. Australia is going on lock down. This is from ABC

Despite Trump's tweet this morning, there is no systematic testing of passengers returning from overseas. Not even any questioning or checking temperatures or screening for symptoms.
Trump claims (falsely) all Americans returning to country are being tested:"We have heavily tested. If an American coming back or anybody coming back, we have a tremendous testing set up where people coming in have to be tested … if it shows positive … We have to quarantine." pic.twitter.com/ndGlKmSFJh

Apparently we aren't in any kind of national emergency after all. McConnell and the rest of the Senate are taking a week's vacation and aren't going to deal with any sort of emergency coronavirus legislation until they return. I'm glad they feel the urgency.
McConnell ally says Senate won’t take up House #coronavirus bill until after recess. “The Senate will act when we come back and we have a clearer idea of what extra steps we need to take,” Sen. Lamar Alexander told reporters.

I think it’s just spring training at this point with a possible delay to the season.

Here's what ESPN says
Major League Baseball is expected to suspend the remainder of spring training Thursday in response to the coronavirus pandemic, sources tell ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Sources tell Passan that they expect the league will likely delay the beginning of the regular season as well.
The league's owners will hold a conference call Thursday afternoon to formalize the plan.
MLB was scheduled to open its season on March 26, with all 30 teams in action.
The Seattle Mariners had already announced that their games would be moved from Seattle through April 1, following the state of Washington's decision to ban large group events as a response to the coronavirus outbreak.
Spring training games are currently being played, but players have been awaiting a decision. On Thursday, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher David Price walked into the team's facility and said: "It's gotta happen. This is so much bigger than sports. I've got two kids."
Multiple teams have already pulled scouts off the road and sent them home because of coronavirus concerns, sources say. Others have canceled all travel.
