Sure. But obviously, Republicans must have some sort of crime in mind when they say that Fauci belongs behind bars.

Probably the crime of being the champion of policies that their constituents didn't like. So it becomes popular to hate on him.Szdfan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2026 8:17 pmSure. But obviously, Republicans must have some sort of crime in mind when they say that Fauci belongs behind bars.

I wonder about this possibility. If he is connected to actual crimes, I hope he is brought to justice but if it's just a trial about being "woke" I have little interest. I think that is still legal for now.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2026 8:31 pmProbably the crime of being the champion of policies that their constituents didn't like. As a resident of Pennsylvania, I certainly hated what the NIH, under Fauci did to little aborted baby body parts in the state.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2026 8:31 pmProbably the crime of being the champion of policies that their constituents didn't like. So it becomes popular to hate on him.
At the hearings yesterday, the subject came up about using body parts of aborted babies and growing them on rats and mice. When Fauci was director of the NIH a $430,000 grant from the NIAID was given to conduct a study using aborted baby body parts. Scientists (butchers) scalped 5-month-old aborted babies and stitched the baby scalps onto the backs of lab rats. Those little scalps on the backs of rats grew little baby hairs. Each scalp belonged to a little Pennsylvania baby whose head would grow those same hairs if he or she were not aborted and then their little scalps used for experiments with lab rats.
I don't hate Fauci, but it is easy to see why people would hate him. And it has nothing to do with what is "popular".

In retrospect, no one should have listened to anything he said. Hard to have known at the time I guess.
Aside from egos, i have no idea why these questions/complaints/allegations are supposedly partisan.
But, BC or AD, egos account for a lot of faulty thinking, so, not to be underestimated.

While these experiments might be abhorrent and immoral, I don’t think they were criminal, especially when Roe v. Wade was still in effect.Grace wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2026 9:29 pmAs a resident of Pennsylvania, I certainly hated what the NIH, under Fauci did to little aborted baby body parts in the state.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2026 8:31 pmProbably the crime of being the champion of policies that their constituents didn't like. Re: Fauci Hearings
While I agree this might not have been criminal, it does lend credence to my objection to stem-cell based vaccines (such as the kind Fauci championed and developed for COVID-19), which I have long claimed are made with aborted-baby parts.Szdfan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2026 11:33 pmWhile these experiments might be abhorrent and immoral, I don’t think they were criminal, especially when Roe v. Re: Fauci Hearings
Soloist has written quite a bit about this.
imho, it decidedly falls into comparison to “slavery was legal” .. due to vast numbers involved, with 100% kill rate, in my view, it eclipses sins of “legal” slavery and wars, too. The MIC kill rate doen’t compare to 100%.
Not to mention profit-profit-profit.
Remove the profit, there would be a 90% (or more) disappearance of the entire debate.
No, i don’t believe for a moment the profiteers care 1 iota about women and their babies. Nada.
They exploit the public’s conscientiousness when they have none. Nada.
They are practiced and efficient at all of it.
A big ruse.

Re: Fauci Hearings
i’m uneasy about private talks, private diaries, etc., being made public and exploited.
i don’t follow Glenn Beck or RFK Jr., at all.
i appreciate RFK Jr on some points, he loses me on others.
Relevant to this topic, this discussion video points out some plausible details about the hearing, the diaries, and more.
Esp proposing the diaries were never private, they were gov property all along.
People are not only fallible, we can be stupid at scale.
If true, is this worse-than hillary’s ignorance+incompetence with emails/computer tech?

2:00 min mark: RFK Jr compares Fauci’s diaries to a teenage girl’s diary. It struck me so.
And caused me to think of Nero.
Madness beyond description.

Glenn speaks with RFK Jr. to discuss just how he found Dr. Fauci's diary.

Re: Fauci Hearings
One of the areas that Fauci messed up is that he wrote his diary on work accounts and therefore his diary was on government servers. His assumption of privacy was a mistake.
The diary is embarrassing, but I haven’t heard anything that’s a crime. It’s not a crime to be enamored by your own celebrity. It’s not a crime for private thoughts to contradict public statements.
The hearing does really look like a political prosecution.
