I doubt Satan loves at all. I think Valerie is using Satan as a proxy to vent her own emotions.

Satan rather hates the leadership, which is why he conspires to get them to do evil things.

I don't think anyone here is qualified to speak for Satan. And that's a good thing.

I don't think any of our political leaders are God's strategy to defeat Satan. I don't think anyone prominently featured in the Epstein files is God's choice to make America righteous. If God raises up a righteous leader, I think that leader's personal life will be righteous.

All of them. In this case, speaking directly of Nero Caesar. I don't think the Bible promotes emperor worship, though, and I don't think it would have said that Nero Caesar was the greatest emperor in the history of emperors.

I think Christians can sometimes get off-balance on these things when we discuss politics.

Right. I'm just saying that the Bible speaks of them as God's servants, so they are indeed part of God's overall strategy.

I didn't say we should engage in emperor worship - is anyone on MennoNet saying that?
