And unbeliever describes what he saw in the funeral...
It was not a funeral. That was held earlier that week. This was a Memorial "Celebration" of Kirk's life.
Ok... so this was a more public facing memorial... I imagine now, that Charlie Kirk himself would even want that event to be more focused on the person of Jesus Christ and His gospel, rather than the mixed message that was projected, for all the world to see. Erika did well...I hope and pray her voice and example lead her followers to follow/imitate ONLY Jesus Christ.
But at the same event (claiming christian event btw), Trump/Miller proclaimed the doctrines of demons. So who will the participants/listeners ultimately choose to follow???

A Confessing Church would acknowledge the inescapable realities of sin and injustice in every human institution, including every political party. It would wholeheartedly reject any suggestion that one party or movement is the party of God. Paul D Miller

ALL of it up and package it up as one big Holy Spirit infused christian gospel revival, kingdom move of God... (imho some do this on MennoNet as well...)
And some mix the processive, liberal ideology with the Christian gospel here too.

I think I am funnier than I really am.
I have attended a funeral service before where a preacher gave a eulogy and gospel message, and then memories were shared or another person gave a eulogy who isn’t a Christian.

This is different. I've never been to a memorial service where eulogy, political messaging and the Gospel were all mixed together. If I were I can assure you I would be uncomfortable no matter the flavor of politics. I'm not one for making a scene so I probably wouldn't stomp out, but I would try to avoid putting myself in a situation like that.

I've never seen a memorial service with pyrotechnics before this.
Or the promotion and selling of "merch". I read somewhere that TPUSA made $7 million in profit off this memorial by marketing merch on their web site and during the TV broadcast.

To paraphrase Samson's tombstone: "So the merch that he sold at his death was more than he had sold in his life."
Well, maybe not quite. And there's apparently a slew of merch not affiliated with TPUSA that's being marketed by companies such as Guangzhou Shiwei and Jinhua Hongrun E-Commerce; some of them say they are donating the proceeds, which might even be illegal if they are actually doing so.

So the money goes for a good cause, after all this is Charlie Kirk’s mindset and hearts desire that I am pretty sure his wife, who knew him better than anyone else, approved believing this is what her husband would want- not for himself, but for the benefit of others.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.
