The Fact-checker people at PolitiFact have helpfully informed us that Hurricane Helene didn't result from human modifications to the weather, and that there are no projects that can modify or create hurricanes. Isn't that nice to know.

One would think such a thing wouldn't be necessary.
But we have actual members of Congress promoting such nonsense and so here we are.

Along with "news" sources helpfully informing us after every major hurricane that such storms are increasing in severity and frequency due to human caused climate change.

Or just so blindingly obvious that it shouldn't need to be stated?

Both things can be true.
1. Majorie Taylor Green is batty when she says that Democrats are directing hurricanes to red states to keep them from voting next month. It's impossible to deliberately create and direct hurricanes.
2. The frequency and severity of hurricanes is increasing in general due to human created climate change that is warming the ocean and affecting weather patterns.

I think I am funnier than I really am.
