No, actually it it's not. Are the NYT and Washington Post state-owned media outlets that are personally controlled by Biden? No, of course not. Russia Times, however is a notorious outlet for lies, disinformation, and propaganda from the Russian state. Even Trump's State Department thought so: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT_(TV_network)
RT has been described as a major propaganda outlet for the Russian government and its foreign policy. Academics, fact-checkers, and news reporters (including some current and former RT reporters) have identified RT as a purveyor of disinformation and conspiracy theories. UK media regulator Ofcom has repeatedly found RT to have breached its rules on impartiality, including multiple instances in which RT broadcast "materially misleading" content. RT's editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan compared the channel to the Ministry of Defence and stated that it was "waging an information war, and with the entire Western world". In September 2017, RT America was ordered to register as a "foreign agent" with the United States Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. RT has been banned in Ukraine since 2014, and in Latvia and Lithuania since 2020.

I don’t really care about American propaganda claiming RT is not the “free press”. From what I can tell, it’s pretty good journalism, much like Al Jazeera; in both cases just expect a Russian or a Qatari spin on things.

I wasn't citing any American propaganda. The article I quoted cited UK media analysis and the actual words of Russia Times editor-in-chief who conflated Russia Times with the Russian Ministry of Defense and stated that they were waging an information war with the entire Western world.
Do you not take her at her word?

“ RT has been banned in Ukraine since 2014, and in Latvia and Lithuania since 2020.”
Lol, any such activity just shows how their places are U.S. client states.
The nativity with which people believe America is some free beacon of democracy and the wisest, best nation the earth has ever seen is really stunning.

Or maybe former Soviet states that suffered through generations of brutal Soviet/Russian occupation including the Holodomor know better than you what Russian propaganda looks like.

But somehow mysteriously not including places like Hungary?

Now you are just reaching Josh. What does Hungary have to do with the Russia Times?

Because Hungary broke ranks with the Baltic states and what’s left of Ukraine that are essentially U.S. client states.

I still don't follow. Hungary was never in rank with the Baltic States. It is a completely separate nation that is 1000 miles away from the Baltic states and has an entirely different history, having been part of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire and then part of the Axis powers during WW2. And I still don't have any idea what any of this has to do with the legitimacy of Russia Times as a news source. It isn't banned in the US either, but that doesn't make it legitimate.
