I am old and have not so much contacts. But as as a substitionary teacher, I wear a mask but I don't distance. I am shortsighted and I continuously look into the pupils' books or papers, have no time for complicated rules like "Give it to me at arm's length" etc. On the other hand, I am vaccinated; moreover it is more probable that a child will infect me than the other way round.
This only as an explanation that actual life is more difficult than can be ruled by rulers.
