I am not entering the debate.
Did your parents vaccinate you?
And saying the medical professionals are making an "example" is conspiracy to me. Going down the road of "trust no one" isn't my thing.
I have said, repeatedly, I would be fine with using more vaccines if there were real alternatives to stem cells.
Until there are, I will refuse to inject aborted baby parts into my body or my children’s.

I don't know about the validity, but there are rumors going around that the child had RSV and pneumonia prior to catching measles. I honestly doubt we can know though unless the family comments.JohnH wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 8:08 amConsidering measles is eminently treatable and rarely fatal, I would have serious questions for how he was treated or not treated.Southerner wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 8:06 am
One of the children who died in TX was an otherwise healthy school age boy. I look at my kids and ask if I could live w myself if they died of something so preventable.
I would strongly suspect the medical profession is trying to make an “example” out of the family.
So much for “first, do no harm”. As I’ve told you a bunch of times, I’d gladly have my family take a measles vaccine if one were available that didn’t use stem cells. Are you willing to advocate for this?
as for the medical professionals doing that... seriously? do you honestly believe the doctors or nurses would take it out on a child?

For Measles, no. For Rubella yes.
In the early 2000s the monovalent vaccine option was taken away unless you went out of country.

There are allegations the family asked for help and was denied. Of course these are only allegations.Soloist wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 9:09 amI don't know about the validity, but there are rumors going around that the child had RSV and pneumonia prior to catching measles. What concerns me more is constantly waving around “a child died!!!” It’s a combination of a threat to the rest of us alongside what I feel is a complete lack of respect for the family.
There is no conclusive evidence that the child died because they were unvaccinated yet that is the conclusion being pushed on us by the lying press and by the pro-vaccine fearmongerers.

So it's a hypothetical but your unvaccinated children end up sick and the doc tells you they have measles and they are dying, what are you going to do?JohnH wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 9:40 amThere are allegations the family asked for help and was denied. Allegations by who? Some random anonymous person on Facebook who heard it from a cousin who heard it from a "friend?"JohnH wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 9:40 amThere are allegations the family asked for help and was denied. What we know is that public health officials in Lubbock and from the the Texas Department of Health Services have reported that a child died of measles. And that the child was also unvaccinated.
What is this "treatment" for measles that you allege was denied to the family? What is the correct treatment for measles? Is there any treatment for measles other than letting the disease run its course? Do you even know?

Famous last words until your child dies.
