i also get how greed+power drive extraordinary evils. people are capable of evil over very little.
imagine the motivation when the stakes are high. i would hate to be in such shoes. i’m not sure i could resist temptations.

Because of my own first-person experience with PP in 1976, i can easily imagine everything described.
In our case, my husband and i went in together, hopeful to be pregnant, happy with the news! Only to be encouraged to abort.
At that time, we barely knew what abortion was, had never thought of it. It was an alien idea.

Sounds fine to me. I’d like to raise my son with the understanding sex and having children is for marriage, and no, it’s not OK to pressure a girl to kill your baby just because you don’t want it.

When my mom did “sidewalk counselling”, nearly every girl was there brought by a boyfriend. In one of the more horrific situations, a girl was brought by her father - and not the first time - due a repeated incestuous situation. He kept having her get abortions over and over.

Nowadays such sidewalk counselling is illegal (FACE act) and it’s much harder to protest in front of abortion clinics. But antifa has free reign to protest in front of crisis pregnancy support centres and to threaten them.

they both describe intense pressures to abort as part+parcel of public school ed - this is known! It warrants public discussion.
