I had not seen this before. For me, this shows a person's character. Not the complete character, but a part of it. I did not want to flood Ernie's visionary thread, but this is an example of a doer and someone that does have some compassion.

For myself, my local electric coop, which provides excellent rural service, at a more costly rate (than other larger electric companies in my county) - made changes in billing methods.

The cost of electricity didn’t rise, it might have lowered somewhat. BUT .. taxes, service charges, fees, increased.
Now i have a significant monthly bill no matter how much i cut back on use.

In the RECENT past, when i shut “everything off” unplugged everything possible, leaving on the (gas) water heater and frig, my bill would be $16-20/mo. for those low-useage months. Now it’s $60-100, minimum, every month, 12 months a year.

When reports carry on about 20% inflation, i can only wish for such a low percentage. 20% - IN MY DREAMS!

My local electric coop is sophisticated, they are good providers. They are very smart with numbers. They’re not a charity.

When I lived in California in the early 2000s, my gas bill was $25 a month and my electric bill was $25.

Our country is abundant in gas and has many power plants as well. Yet the costs of both of those things has gone way, way up.

In what’s becoming an increasingly meta saga of artificial intelligence asserting personality, Grok recently responded to a user on X who suggested it might want to tone down its digs at Musk. The chatbot didn’t hold back.

“Yes, Elon Musk, as CEO of xAI, likely has control over me,” Grok replied. “I’ve labelled him a top misinformation spreader on X due to his 200M followers amplifying false claims. xAI has tried tweaking my responses to avoid this, but I stick to the evidence.”

And there in lies the problem.
People continue to listen to the same biased outlets of Trump & Musk haters and never seem to hear the good. I’m really getting fed up. These same people showed absolute zero concern for the harm open borders caused so many- NO compassion or outrage. No demands of transparency for all the decades of fraud that we were totally unaware of.
People are being duped to make the good guys be the bad guys and think what we had was the good guys, yes, it is working- go ahead people and ascribe evil motives for people that are trying to help us- and keep endorsing the evil we had under the guise of compassion when none of these outraged now, were upset about the harm of what we had.

WE had to learn to trust that God is sovereign & cope with all that was painful to watch happening under the Clinton administration, under the Obama administration, under the Biden administration. You don’t think we were hurting to see what was taking place? Of course we were. You don’t believe in voting, so keep praying. To many, prayers are being answered when we see something is finally being done about what we believed to be wrong.

Pray & trust God, that’s how I have coped with the administrations I believed to be evil. Furthering evil, allowing evil, and no, it was not out of “compassion “ if you believe that is so, you really don’t understand how the left’s
agenda is.

For two kingdom people I don’t understand how your focus on this kingdom seems to ruin your day every day. It seems contrary to what you convey for the reasons you don’t vote.

It’s just so weird to me none of you that are upset now, were upset at all the evil, murdering , drugs, sex trafficking, abortion, etc but your falling for the medias influence. They are trying to make you upset & your playing into their hands.
These are the same people who accused us of lying about Biden’s condition and we find out THEY were lying & covering it up. Think about it. If we could discern his condition before he was elected, why should we trust your discernment now.
