That’s how I felt when Liberal presidents advocate for abortion and lit at the White House in rainbow colors and told the gay activist “This is their country now. So I understand how you feel.” Trump was the only president that marched in the pro-life march.
God certainly called enough wars but He never promoted sexual sins like Democrat presidents and Kate term abortions.

I actually agree with Valerie here. It's a real wonder it took this long for some of us to not feel at home in America.

It's a good thing either way.

America felt like a foreign country to many Christians during the French and Indian and Revolutionary Wars. Many again felt this way during the civil war.

I feel this way regarding both the degradation of morals and accompanying celebrations during liberal presidencies, as well as the degradation of morals and accompanying celebrations during the current presidency.

I agree that all of this is good for us as Christians to help us keep looking for that better country and that city that has foundations.

Really? Only now you feel that way? Are you completely ignorant of all the other wars that the U.S. has inserted themselves over the past 250 years?
Do you really think the U.S. is going to tolerate attacks on innocent vessels navigating the strait including their own? As I understand it a tit for tat is being implemented. For every ship Iran bombs unprovoked, the U.S. will do the same. I doubt anyone is really shocked by that. I have a really hard time believing you are either. This regime doesn't really look much different than the last, nor the several before that. Largely, they all operate the same way.
It's always been a foreign country to me. You know, I'm just a stranger passing thru...

Maybe I am a little ignorant but as I recall the history of the US Naval policy has been to protect shipping lanes, not attack civilian ships within them. That was the actual motive for founding the US Navy. Their first assignment was to curb the Barbary pirates to ensure shipping in the Mediterranean.

Not to mention William Lloyd Garrison, Frederick Douglas, Harriet Stowe, Elijah Lovejoy, and many others.

Good perspective. I suppose it felt a little hostile to my ancestors in Virginia when the US army matched through and burned their houses and barns.

POTUS says he thinks Iran war will end immediately after mid-terms. Imagine being the enemy and realizing that you have at least two months to do a lot of damage and maybe become better positioned to keep extending the war.
