I really don’t know why cam didn’t disband and return funds to donors. They’re sitting on a gigantic pot of cash which will be a feeding frenzy for any lawyer who can convince one of the many victims to sue (with a contingency fees of 40-50% of course).
CAM would have to either aggressively defend against such lawsuits or face shutting down when all the funds run out.

You don't think the victims are entitled to their day in court and a substantial financial settlement?JohnH wrote: ↑Thu Dec 04, 2025 8:16 pm I really don’t know why cam didn’t disband and return funds to donors. I never made any judgment either way. I’m just saying that I’m surprised an institution that attempted for a while to evade responsibility didn’t also protect its assets.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Thu Dec 04, 2025 8:21 pmYou don't think the victims are entitled to their day in court and a substantial financial settlement?JohnH wrote: ↑Thu Dec 04, 2025 8:16 pm I really don’t know why cam didn’t disband and return funds to donors. I don’t think transferring 40-50% of CAM’s current assets to lawyers would really be a particularly just outcome either, but that’s what’s likely to happen.

I, Southerner, ask the moderators of this forum to remove my two poasts in this thread about the attempted abduction. Thank you for your attention to this matter.JohnH wrote: ↑Thu Dec 04, 2025 1:55 pmDoes this have to do with Haiti or Jeriah Mast?Southerner wrote: ↑Thu Dec 04, 2025 11:28 am https://cvillerightnow.com/news/208802- ... tradition/

Re: Jeriah Mast indicted (again)
Not only did Mast get his flights paid for by CAM , they proved him a vehicle he used traveling all of Haiti in his role of food distribution to schools and orphanages gave him untold young boys to seduce.
The number of trips do not reflect his long term stays , even towards his last years in Haiti, owned his own home.

This case was talked about on here quite a bit back when it first broke.
If facts are what one is looking for I am certain there are more reliable sources than the blog referenced.

Apparently today is the deadline for pretrial motions in the federal case against Jeriah, and a plea deal may be in the works, according to Roys Report
