Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?
Re: Sattler's Top 10 Reading List

Re: Sattler's Top 10 Reading List
About 3/4 of those are on time management and study habits.
I would think that just one good book on that topic should suffice and reading 7 or 8 of them is just redundant. If I were putting together a 10-book reading list for a smart 18 year old I would come up with 10 books on ten completely different non-overlapping subjects that an educated 18 year old should know.
One on study habits, time management, etc.
One on how to WRITE and communicate
One on personal finance and economics
One on basic science (layman's guide to the current world of science)
One on basic literature
One on basic history and politics
One on faith and religion
One on the arts and music.
etc. etc.

Not to be confused with the REAL Sattler (Michael). (Not that I've read HIS writings, either. Just saying.)

I've read about half of them. The Covey book is a classic. And I really liked James Clear's book.
I am with Ken though...I would recommend some historical/literary works methinks as well.

Seems like the kind of book list a CEO or a hedge fund manager would come up with. Frankly, it’s shallow.
