Companion books to Bible study?

Post by MaxPC »

Same friend, new-ish Christian. He’s not Catholic so I am trying to tailor my suggestions with this in mind. He was raised Presbyterian, he doesn’t trust that church now.

He asked about companion books for Bible study. Of course I suggested Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance.

What do you think of

How does he study the Bible now? What level of biblical knowledge does he have? What kinds of questions does he want to have answered as he studies?

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?
