Exploring Anabaptism: An Interview with Cody Cook

Post by MattY »

Have any of you heard of Cody Cook or read any of his books? His latest book is called, The Pocket Anabaptist: A Concise Systematic Theology of the Radical Reformation.

He discusses it here in this interview on YouTube. They discuss his book, how he became an Anabaptist, some early Anabaptist history, mistaken ideas about Anabaptism, and so on.

I enjoyed the interview. I would like to read his book. I like how he contextualizes anabaptism within other social forces like the magisterial reformation and the peasants revolt.

I appreciated his defense of anabaptism in response to Gavin Ortland's rather careless critique.
