The antichrist is an athiest. His "wonders" are technological, and decieve men into believing they are the highest form of existence.

i appreciate what he’s saying.
i think atheists believe in God, they don’t admit it. they hate Him and fear Him, want to overcome Him.
not possible.

i agree, they LIE.

i decided long ago, i don’t believe in atheists.

i agree, they LIE. [the antichrist LIES.] [some atheists are misled, but are redeemable.]

[i don’t believe the antichrist has power over God.]

I thought that the whole point with Batman was technology. He had no superpowers except being very rich and creating technology to fight the bad guys. Maybe Batman is an anti-Christ too. Finding other ways to save people besides Christ.

I'm not completely sold on the idea the powers of darkness are incapable of producing wonders. The Egyptian sorcerers opposing God in the Exodus seemed capable of it. I suspect part of the seduction of the evil powers is their ability to produce some type of results.

I would expand his thoughts on the atheism of the anti-christ by including the 1st century definition of "believe", which contained something of the idea of "serve". Post enlightenment we imagine a dichotomy between belief and knowledge that didn't necessarily exist previously. I think, in the ancient sense, an atheist can believe in the existence of a God but choose not to serve him.

faithonchrist WROTE:
For nearly eight decades, Walter Briggs made it his mission to convince people that God does not exist.

He debated Christians on stages across America.
He hosted a call-in radio show where he publicly humiliated believers.
He even kept letters from people who said they lost their faith because of him.

Then came a powerful encounter with Jesus.

Walter walked into a small local church, confessed everything he had done, and asked the pastor a question that broke the room:

“Could God ever forgive a criminal like me?”

The pastor opened Scripture and read:
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8

That day, Walter was baptized.
And today, he boldly proclaims: God is real, and Jesus is my Lord and Savior.

Amen.
God can save ANYONE. No one is beyond His grace.

And let the one who has understanding find the number of the beast in the Chrome icon. Mebbe Alphabet Inc really is the antichrist.

true. i didn’t catch that.
if i must be lied to, i prefer this type of - - misrepresentation. i know conversion happens. not always taking so many decades.

i shared with the same purpose as underlined above.
