Great 28-minute recorded sermon from J.John, (evangelist from London, England) teaching the positive aspect
of the 9th commandment- "How to Hold to the Truth"
Based on the ninth of the Ten Commandments from God to Moses, recorded in Exodus in the Old Testament.
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” (Ex. 20:16).
The message was so encouraging for my wife and me tonight.
I want my speech to be just like Jesus.
Some of J.John's points...
False witness -- Gossip, Slander and Flattery
Contrast of Satan the father of lies, with Jesus Who is the Truth.
Jesus is able to erase lies, fix broken spirits, and heal deep inner wounds.
The Holy Spirit of truth in the believer will produce words of grace and truth.

Is this the SS class where you have guest speakers and then discuss their presentation? You could consider having Dan speak to you on the subject rather than just watching the video. He's not that far away.

That’s the speaker summer series you’re thinking about.ohio jones wrote: ↑Mon Sep 15, 2025 5:51 pmIs this the SS class where you have guest speakers and then discuss their presentation? This topic would be excellent during the school year using our Free Will Baptist resources and Bible study if the teacher thinks he can do it justice. We don’t start planning the SSS until March or April.
