As in John Ruth’s book?
Wife:Yep. On a CloudVeil/telegram group for selling books. Maybe they looked here and decided now was the time to sell.

It is an Anabaptist History Book. And it does have a lot of Lancaster County Pa., history, which is why it is interesting to me.
Wife: Im sure it probably is, and I’m a history nerd too. The prices I’ve heard from eBay/auctions just sound like all hubbys nursing textbooks put together plus some. That’s a case where I would look at it carefully at one of the historical libraries.
We were talking about how we might spend up to 100 for something like the second Hutterite chronicles, but I can’t imagine spending 300-700 on any book by choice.

Call the Hutterite colony at Altona. They likly don’t have it, but can point you to people who do. That is how I got mine. Did not cost that much. Also, likely it will come from Canada, bu sure ans make the conversation.

Just looked inside my Volume 2 of the Hutterite Chronicle. Was from Crystal Springs Colony in St. Agatha, Manitoba. I don’t know how much I actually paid, but it is marked 35.00, which I will assume is Canadian. If you want it, they were quite friendly. Ask for the bookstore when you get the colony operator.

Don't know how much it matters but the name is actually Ste. Agathe, Manitoba I believe. St. Agatha is in Ontario.

Community Farm of the Brethren is/was about 10-15 miles from St. Agatha ON, but that is a horse of a different color.

Wife: sorry, I was out fishing with my son and dealing with the subsequent carnage that came home. I ended up asking for you before sending the information to you, and the current highest bid is… $1400.

Anyway, if you still want it, they want to wrap up tonight. I for one don’t know if I’m lightheaded from the fishing or from the price tag.

Some people spend money on books, some spend it on fishing gear! :) :)
