.. for a time, you will be carried by prayers of others you’ll not know who or how many,
you’ll know “there was a time”.

My granddad died from cancer at a young age and this was one of his favorites hymns.

Jesus Calls Us/ Mrs Cecil Alexander, 1853
1. Jesus calls us o'er the tumult
Of our life's wild, restless sea;
Day by day his sweet voice sounding,
Saying, "Christian, follow me."
2. Brothers Simon, Andrew heard it
By the Galilean lake,
Turned from home, and toil, and kindred,
Leaving all for His dear sake.
3. Jesus calls us from the worship
Of the vain world’s golden store,
From each idol that would keep us,
Saying, “Christian, love me more.”
4. In our joys and in our sorrows,
Days of toil and hours of ease,
Still he calls, in cares and pleasures,
“Christian, love me more than these.”
5. Jesus calls us—By your mercies,
Savior, may we hear your call,
Give our hearts to your obedience,
Serve and love you best of all.

Music hits the emotions really hard in times of grief. When my mother passed away last year, a friend sent me this beautiful song, which has been meaningful to me ever since.

I may be a little slow but I don't know the relationship between this a Robert.
This is the news report of my son's accident.
I see, I missed the motorcycle part.

There are a lot of words in the book of Job trying to make sense of tragedy but the only ones favored were Job's raw complaints and his faltering declarations of faith. God seemed to treasure this.

I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;
I myself will see him
with my own eyes—I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!

I can understand in a small way and grieve with you after our two family deaths within a year. You can find peace that passes understanding.

We will pray for you and your family.
