I've been using a Sony Handycam for the last 18 months. 9.2 megapixels, super easy to use. Video quality is great, stills are okay. Problem is, low-light is an issue as I have no flash for stills. Some of my stills come out great, others do not. I am casually thinking of going to a DSLR type camera, but I don't need another hobby that drains money right now. I could see buying the camera and maybe one lens, but we're not shooting National Geographic here.
