Re: US Attacks Iran 2026
Are you also praying for the innocent Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, Bahraini, and many more civilians who are caught in this? Or just praying for Iranians? Wow, just wow. Just because other people groups are not mentioned - it does not mean they are not being prayed for. I would say most if not all folks...

Re: US Attacks Iran 2026
How soon we forget the horrors of 9/11 on innocent lives and October 7 innocent lives by terrorists with an ideology to wipe out Jews and Christians. Those are horrors no one will forget. But does that justify the US doing the same thing? There are many innocent lives that will be affected in many ...

Re: US Attacks Iran 2026
When I posted earlier, I realize our president won't have the entire population eradicated but to make the threats he is, to speak as he is- this is just very disconcerting that the head of a powerful nation would be saying things like this. Even Truman did not speak like this. And many people will ...

Re: US Attacks Iran 2026
Guess I would love for our president to explain why he started the war. Supposedly to remove those in power and help those who have been protesting. But now he is threatening to remove a whole civilization - which I am assuming will mean bombing/killing many of those he said he wanted to help/to save.

And CRNPs are filling in for the lack of primary care doctors in many areas especially rural areas or helping the specialists out.

Re: Nursing Is the Surefire New Path to American Prosperity
Many jobs in the hospital that nurses used to do are now done by 'technicians' who are trained but not for long. Giving meds, wound care and other things. As a nurse on the floor you are responsible for what they do- if they mess us your license is on the line- or at least it was when I was in the h...

Re: Proper Form for Reference to an Ethnic Group
But I'm curious where in Oklahoma you were living. (I grew up 16 miles north of Tulsa, and 16 miles west of Claremore. Actually I didn't grow up/live in OK but our minister somehow got to know this minister in Stilwell OK and thru that our youth group collected toys and other things to take. Our yo...

Re: Proper Form for Reference to an Ethnic Group
So just curious- did that person have a reason for saying this? Is the person Cherokee or just saying that it is politically incorrect. As a teenager we were involved with a Cherokee church in OK and brought Christmas presents to them- our pastor knew that pastor. I only remember any reference being...

Re: Easter vs "Resurrection Day"
My husband grew up conservative Mennonite- Southeastern- and they called it Easter. I grew up Methodist which when I was a teen became United Methodist- and we called it Easter. When we were part of a home church that was the first I heard folks call it Resurrection Day vs Easter and even made a big...
