Re: File associations lost

Microsoft says that I have the latest drivers downloaded already Because Windows has loaded the default "Microsoft" mouse drivers and it is up t date. Check the manufacturer and model of the mouse and search for drivers from that manufacturer. You should find what you need. Did your mouse...

Re: What are you reading?

The Lost History of Christianity,
The Thousand-year Golden Age of the Church in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia - and how it died.
By Philip Jenkins
A fairly recent publish of 2008, considering I bought it at the Salvation Army.
Lots of interesting history so far.

Re: File associations lost

You need to download the specific drivers for that mouse from the manufacturer. Then you have to set the preferences there. I use a Logitech G602 that has about 11 buttons. I can program each one. This all has to be done through manufacturer software. Unfortunately, Microsoft says that I have the l...

Re: File associations lost

What brand of mouse do you have? Try downloading Logitech's or Microsoft's software. I have a Microsoft mouse. When I reloaded 7 it loaded some software, but there is nothing in the "Microsoft mouse & keyboard center to make adjustments to the mouse, though that is where I am directed from...

Re: Plumbing: Caulked Shower Surround

I have installed those splash guards on my tub/shower and it does the trick, but you will still need to put just a dab of caulking in the very corner on the inside (shower side) to keep it from oozing out through there as the corner didn't seal well on mine. Here's hoping it works for you! gotcha! ...

Re: File associations lost

Good evening Guys and Gals, I have reinstalled Win7 and now am in the process of re-installing many of my programs again. Nearly all of my "files" are on a slave drive, so none of them were lost. I just wish there was a way to just activate the programs that are actually still on there, bu...

Re: Church leadership: term limits

I was not amongst the leadership in the church I was referring to, but only a part of the brotherhood... I have been in leadership in other places, where there wasn't an issue, since the leaders were not "above" those in the pews and we shared responsibilities together. That is real "...

Re: Church leadership: term limits

Whether the appointment is for life or not, how are the candidates for ordination selected? Election may still be used. Even in the event of use of the lot are not the candidates selected by some sense of the voice of the congregation? More to the point is what system of accountability is in effect...

Re: Plumbing: Caulked Shower Surround

I have another pluming / shower question. I'm planning to have my tub/shower refinished and I want to replace the hardware as well. Which should happen first, the refinish or the hardware (shower pipe & head, control handle, and faucet)? I don't want the refinish guy to get his goop or whatever...
