Re: The CAM scandal links and assorted other topics thread
I'm curious why you think CAM has a difficult time attracting trained professionals? I am not answering for CAM but my thoughts would be: To a child of God - character is more important than credentials. And therefore, even in our mistakes and inability to discern properly every spirit at times, I ...

Re: Bill Gothard?
At the risk of raising holy ire, has anyone else seen similarities between Gothardism and the teachings coming from the new SC crowd?

Re: Bill Gothard?
I think it is better to frame our relationships in love and submission, rather than authority and submission. Jesus is our example for this. Re: The CAM scandal links and assorted other topics thread
I am positive no untrained medical person from CAM ever performed heart surgery. To even suggest that is a distortion. I was merely responding to your post Are you confusing me with someone else ? My apologies. I was responding to the post by "Wade," and not suggesting for a moment that C...

Re: The CAM scandal links and assorted other topics thread
Working for CAM is virtually volunteering. You get room, board, some travel expense, and a very small stipend for incidentals. Most educated professionals can't afford that long term. I don't understand this, and perhaps this is something that needs changing. Especially in light of the fact they se...

Re: The CAM scandal links and assorted other topics thread
all the training in the world is not of more value than someone of no training who is always honest and truthful. Well, as previously said, if I go for heart surgery I'll take the training. I am positive no untrained medical person from CAM ever performed heart surgery. To even suggest that is a di...

Re: CAM Molestation Issue
Okay Ernie, I took your advise. It’s easier to be a keyboard activist than have hard, real conversations asking hard questions, isn’t it? ;) Had a talk with David Weaver tonight. I feel a lot of respect for him. And by extension my respect and confidence in CAM has gone up to. - With regard to the ...
