Re: Trump Convicted
It is all over the news today so no need to post links. But Trump has been found guilty and convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. So I guess by the standards of this forum it is now accurate to call him a criminal. And I am sure you will be delighted to do so. Did anyone rea...

What is scrapple? If you’re really pa Dutch it should be “panhaas” 😝 Choosing only three was difficult. Scrapple is a mixture of pork, pork stock, cornmeal, wheat flour, and spices. When freshly processed it is put into a pan, which when cooled jells. After it is jelled it is taken out of the pan a...

Re: War in Gaza
No one even heard of this pier until right before the State of the Union address. Seems like it was a political gesture, so Biden could say he is providing aid. So far it hasn’t provided any aid to Palestinian civilians. The pier has been used to transport 662 tons of aid, none of it reaching the ci...

You would have thought that the engineers of the project would have figured this out beforehand. The question is, was the project hurriedly pushed through without proper research? And i...

His suggestion to "get married and start a family" was not what made his speech highly controversial. It was his unprovoked attacks on everyone who hold different viewpoints from single working women to LGBT people. He is, of course, free to express whatever opinions he wants. And others ...

Re: Amish World's Healthiest Children
For once Ken and I agree on something. Another aspect that might keep Amish children more healthy is the fact they usually live in less sterile environments, than their non-Amish peers. The fact that they are around horses, other animals, run barefoot, maybe don't bathe as often, etc. builds up the...

Re: Amish World's Healthiest Children
I would expect it to be true the Amish children are generally more healthy than the median. But that would be due to diet and lifestyle, not childhood vaccination status. For once Ken and I agree on something. Another aspect that might keep Amish children more healthy is the fact they usually live ...
