Re: Poll: Who will win 2024 Presidency?
It's illegal for the defendant of a criminal case to intimidate witnesses, the jury and officers of the court, which is why there's a gag order. Is that really what is going on? I perceive it as suppression of political speech. Trump isn't "intimidating" anyone. And the witnesses seem qui...

Re: Poll: Who will win 2024 Presidency?
That's because many people (correctly) perceive these trials as being biased, unfair, and basically political show trials. Americans don't like that. Have you been paying any attention to the current trial? Most any other person, after violating their conditions of release in other criminal trials,...

Re: Is Biden Fit to be President?
Nice whataboutism there. Either lying is a measure of fitness for president or it isn't. Which is it? Maybe neither is fit to be president, but we really don't seem to have another choice. I really liked Shane Claiborne's book, Jesus for President . https://pictures.abebooks.com/isbn/9780310278429-...

Re: Is Biden Fit to be President?
I would love to see a test of these sorts of being fit impartially and publicly administered to both major party candidates. I suspect Biden would do better than his opponent, but I don't know.

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?
As Trump was engaged in insurrection, it behooves Congress to act. I think they should have made that finding after the January 6 impeachment, when a majority of both Houses essentially agreed with that finding.

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?
Right now the nation has a president or puppet master, who are attempting to destroy a political opponent by “weaponizing” the court system against that opponent. I know the defendant has made such claims but am unaware of any reason to think these claims are true. Two of Trump's four criminal tria...

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?
How do you think the US should keep want-to-be dictators in check? How do you think the US can keep want-to-be dictators who are also unelected puppet masters, in check? We are seeing that right now, right before our eyes. The puppet being Biden and the identity of the puppet masters unknown. I ser...

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?
The proper forum to convict a President is impeachment and conviction. He wasn’t convicted. The fact Republicans didn’t convict is irrelevant. The simple fact is he was found not guilty. The proper forum to convict a president of a crime is the same as the place everyone else; a court and jury. He ...

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?
The proper pathway is impeachment and conviction. Trump was impeached but not convicted. The end. Impeachment is for removal from office. This theory would allow any crime at the end of a president's term. Of course, in today's climate, impeachments will never lead to conviction because there are e...
