Re: Anabaptism and Revivalism

I haven't thought about this topic in awhile but the David Martin Mennonites have wide open Internet in their businesses...yet have a phone shack at the end of the land. Also, their children go to public school. I am really intrigued. The David Martin's don't have phone shacks. A lot of them have s...

Re: Anabaptism and Revivalism

Anabaptism isn't the only way to resist this, but anabaptism has the very unique and special aspect of restricting technology. This might be one of the main reasons its so successful and organically growing in such a degraded modern country. I haven't thought about this topic in awhile but the Davi...

I agree. And I don't believe we can extrapolate our own understanding of time beyond the physical realm.

Re: US Attacks Iran 2026

I agree with Ken and Gary that the people in government should obey Jesus teachings and should exit the government whenever that is not possible. Another path, is simply stay in whatever position you are and start following the way of Jesus and let the results take you where they will. As long as y...

Re: Easter vs "Resurrection Day"

I don't see it as a very important issue, but if given the choice to emphasize passover or the resurrection, I choose the latter. Both are important though. I am not arguing for or against either designation, it has always been [*]Easter[*] to me, but sometimes facts, some of which can be easily fo...

Re: Easter vs "Resurrection Day"

Just as likely that English words like Easter have nothing at all to do with Pennsylvania Dutch. Most native English speakers do not use PA Dutch pronunciation. Did I say anything about Dutch? You are entitled to your own opinions of course, for whatever they are worth. Or German. I already shared ...
