Re: Bunny Trails

This isn't me putting a question into a chatbot and copying the answer. It took some time and care, and I think it's a useful overview that does reflect my knowledge and background and perspective. Creating this from scratch would have taken more time than I could justify. And I think it's valuable...

Re: "I do not seek to understand in order that I may believe..."

We all live by things we believe in but don't understand. How many understand the chemistry of the rubber compounds that keep cars from slipping off the road or the structural engineering of the bridges and buildings we utilize or how the nutrients we ingest build the cells in our bodies or the phy...

And your AI chat bot won't give you the kind of overview I posted if you just ask it a simple question, will it? This isn't me putting a question into a c...

The madness is sending the vice President when there have been no negotiations, only demands. And never with people in the room who have any background or understanding in the basic issues - nuclear energy, how to monitor uranium production etc., the history and culture of the region, etc. Normally...

Because Trump feels free to change whatever "deal" he reached after the fact at any time for any reason.

So what is the value of a deal?

The U.S. is pretty much the only country that can persuade or control Israel.

Another AI-generated overview from a different perspective ... Schools of Thought on Church and State The main questions are not just whether someone wants "separation" or "establishment," but: Who has jurisdiction over what? Should the state officially privilege a religion? May ...

Re: Biblical case for economics or government style

Islam is a false religion. Terrorism. Killing Christians. How many Scriptures do you need to convince you that there’s reason to not want it to dominate a country? I agree that Islam is false because I believe Christianity is true. But at times, each of these religions killed people of other religi...

JohnH wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 3:04 pm The Catholic Church is also absolutely dead wrong about "just war".
The Catholic Church believes that war may be justified at times, but speaks out against most real wars.

Some people believe that war is never justified in theory, but justify real wars and deflect criticism from them.
