Re: Living with different views on voting

Those who are born again and can see and have entered the kingdom of God are ambassadors of His heavenly kingdom. Ambassadors aren't supposed to vote but represent another country. I live with people with different views on voting - Sure. But agreeing with scripture I personally cannot accept a pers...

Re: Would Donald Trump’s marriage be accepted in a CA church?

Just for clarification of what I said, regarding returning to your first spouse: Deuteronomy 24: 24 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, an...

Re: Would Donald Trump’s marriage be accepted in a CA church?

Anabaptists and Catholics too got such an idea from Jesus' words in Mark 10: 11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. Yes, that'...

Re: Would Donald Trump’s marriage be accepted in a CA church?

I'm not saying at all that I think there should be a difference between men and women. But rather there seems to be a difference between men and women in the OT law. Ok, I apologize, I misunderstood the point you were driving at. I agree, there is a gender distinction there. The question is if Jesu...

Re: Why have the Anabaptists FAILED at Reaching the Masses

That means there was a lot of "assuming" going on here which is why a discussion would have been beneficial, in my honest opinion. When the Bible says "do the work of an evangelist" it seems there's a "starting point" for the one who believes he has a calling to reach ...

Re: Why have the Anabaptists FAILED at Reaching the Masses

I don't think that's fair. I've known of very faithful Baptist people and churches. Perhaps Joy on this forum is not reading this thread. She comes from a very faithful Baptist Church. She has been involved in spreading the Gospel all her adult life- she's been involved in prison ministry for decad...

Re: Why have the Anabaptists FAILED at Reaching the Masses

So are you saying the Anabaptists have been successful and righteously following Matthew 28's Great Commission? I mean we can bash all the other churches we want. The numbers of members speak for themselves. In my experience, Anabaptists are actually the only believers sharing the great commission!...

Re: Why have the Anabaptists FAILED at Reaching the Masses

Mennos also collaborated with Nazi's and had violence in their beginning. Let's not forget about that. Baptists and AOG churches have not been violent. Seventh Day Adventists are HUGE and growing fast and they are non-resistant. The Nazi Mennonites are irrelevant to this particular topic, as are th...

Re: Poll: Saved or Unsaved?

After the resurrection Christ had deeper truths to share until His Ascension. After His Resurrection the Holy Spirit was poured out on every convert that believed and was baptized - and the promise of them being sealed with the Holy Spirit. Acts: 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that...
