The model is based on electoral college votes not popular votes and is heavily weighted using polls from swing states. I would suggest anyone who thinks they know who is going to win at this point is ...

Re: Hunter Biden Plea Deal
The person in question in the 5th Circuit case admitted to being a continual pot user since HS including the time that he owned and possessed the firearm and the court found that pot use (even if illegal) did not disqualify one from gun ownership under the 2nd Amendment. Which would make the questi...

Re: Trump Convicted
Suppose we found out Biden had been paying hush money to porn stars to prevent things from coming out in a campaign. I think we would all agree that's a problem. If Biden were convicted of a felony involved with that, I think we would all agree that's just. I'd like to hear people say that, clearly...

Re: Trump Convicted
.. That is the kind of person who aggressively pushes the envelope in every sort of business and tax transaction. .. It’s ok for biden/libs to push the envelope to defy the spirit of SCOTUS on RvW; for WJC to do the same wrt Lewinsky, etc-etc-etc., but, DJT is somehow specially evil for pushing bou...

As just one example of a misleading summary by GPT Definition and Context Reimbursements vs. Income : Reimbursements : Payments made to an individual or an employee to cover expenses incurred on behalf of the payer. These are not considered income and should not be reported as such on a 1099 form. I...

Re: Trump Convicted
But I'm a little mystified by your argument that falsifying information on 1099s that you submit to the IRS is not a crime. For instance, if you do this to intentionally mislead about hush money paid to a prostitute, I think it could be. Perhaps the Mosaic Law is not the same as modern American tax...

Re: Trump Convicted
Trump could have avoided this whole thing by simply writing a check to his mistress out of his personal checking account and not launder the payments through his business. But he chose not to do that and here we are. Ding-dong. Anybody home? Most of the payments the state is complaining about were ...

Re: Trump Convicted
The fraud that he was convicted of was laundering the hush money payments to his mistress THROUGH HIS BUSINESS. If he had just written her a check out of his personal checking account we wouldn't be here. The definition of "enterprise" that the state used in this case was broad enough to ...
