Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

i may be the last to know .. :-|
this morning, i was .. attempting to compose? :P

i hit the "submit" button - NOTHING. it would not process.
i opened a new tab, got a message that the page/website "would not open."
in the past, this equates to losing the post. in the past, i just accepted, and moved on.

this morning, i had an idea to implement.

before losing all, i used the "select all" and "copy" / "paste" options, pasted the content in a new email to myself .. it worked, all was saved, including the icons.

next, i shut down my device (ipad) then restarted.
i went to the new email, used "select all+copy," returned to MN, "paste," it worked.
including the icons.

in the past, some shared they would use "saved drafts" to prevent total loss of posts while composing. this is also helpful.
now that we have a bit longer to edit (thank you, Robert) i don't think of saved drafts so much.

Hey let's not take this too far George... we don't want them to leave the forum altogether... or have emotional issues...
Go to http://www.letterheadfonts.com and get you some real fonts. And no, you can't have mine.

Oh yeah, but they cost money and the ones I use are FREE!

I understand. But if you love fonts as much as it sounds like, you'll at least appreciate what they are doing.

I have actually used that site to figure out what kind of font I need for a particular application. I wanted to make a scale decal of a Packard for a model that I have been building. I looked there, then went looking on my go-to free font site and found one very close to it and then found the tail for the "d" as used by the Packard motor car company and added it in with Microsoft Word, then after printing it, converted it to a jpg format by scanning it. It came out like this:

from this:

It is not exact, but for free and being reduced to 1/22nd scale to make a decal it works great!

And:

Here is the semi-completed car as it sits today:

Request to admin-mods .. :)
when posts are moved to Bunny Trails or the briar patch, or other ..
could you include reference to where they originated? (i apologize, i'm sure it would be an added inconvenience.)

my request is because i was just reviewing BT's, was surprised at all found there, with no reference about where they came from. or when moved.

when posts-threads are deleted or moved to archives, "no explanation" makes sense .. still, it would be pleasant to be informed about what happened. (maybe privately informed?)

a little more explanation:
part of the reason i'm asking is because, awhile back, there was some deleting/editing done in a thread i started .. then, i received an unpleasant email from a member-friend about the content. i had no idea where this was coming from. i revisited the thread and realized, the deleting-editing gave the appearance i had said something i did not!

i'm 100% sure this was not intended!

the (private complaint) was from a good member-friend of years, trusted, with no conflict ever!
this forum's "norm." 8-)

so, strange/unexpected things happen when posts-threads are altered.
(admin-mods) have explained this from time-to-time. it's not a new phenomena.

admin-mods,
thank you again for your work on this forum.

i apologize to you, and all, for any unpleasantness i am responsible for. not my intention.
i would rather refrain from participation than leave such an impression.

I'm noticing there is nothing marked when someone edits a post. This can lead to a bit of confusion, since someone can silently change their post after someone else replies to it.
