I don't even look at COVID-related threads, nor of course the political ones, which has been made easier. I daresay other members have reached that point, too. Too much, too much.

2Tim. 3:16,17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Proverbs 9:7-9
English Standard Version
7 Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse,
and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
8 Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you;
reprove a wise man, and he will love you.
9 Give instruction[a] to a wise man, and he will be still wiser;
teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.
Spot on, Franklin. The learning curve here is that there are those times in which we are surprised by who the scoffers are; they will come across as wise and reasonable men until we learn more about them by their reactions and overreactions.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.
