My family had milk goats while I was growing up, and they were a lot of fun. I can think of only one that was aggressive toward us, but Dad taught us not to stand for that behavior. (The metal feed basins made good corrective tools.) And yes, they were smart, for instance, learning to climb up into the hay feeder, and from there, leap over the door into the inner part of the barn to sneak feed from the bags.
