:? :?
Makes me curious what exactly it sees that makes it think that...
The word has some not so good connotations. Try googling "What makes a website slimy?"
Are you trying to get me a visit from my deacon???

So, want me to joke on that thread, too? No? I didn't think so.

That's one of those topics that can go on and on and on. And I'm not Plain, anyway. Well, plain in the mirror, but that doesn't earn me any brownie points. ;)

in your opinion, what does it take for you to consider a website to be slimy?
Slimy as in "sketchy" or "shady"?

Or just straight up X-rated??

Not sure what you're after....

Okay... not sure if this fits, but a few years ago my boys were interested in investing in bullion silver. So I started looking some things up online and came across a forum on investing in precious metals. I later realized it was a part of a site on growing "magic" mushrooms and the silver investing was a way for drug dealers to launder their cash.

I never went back.

I haven't been able to locate the post that inspired this thread. When I search MN for 'slimy', it doesn't seem to come up.

Just a snarky comment made about MD/MN by a former MDer that some of us are friends with on FB. There's some fuming going on in this thread, but we'll get over it. And let's see, this is approximately 2nd grade we're in, since you asked. :)
